Day 1--Sunday, May 31st

Today was the day of Ashley's accident. She was mediflighted to OU Medical Center for trauma treatment. She had internal bleeding and the worst bleed came behind her lung. The surgeons were very concerned on whether or not they could even get to the source of the bleed, and we weren't given a whole lot of hope, but they were successful. Dr. O'herrin and her team are rockstars!! The room lit up with joy and you could sense the relief coming from everyone! There were so many family members and friends that came to show their love and support for her. Ash is an amazing woman who is deeply loved...that is apparent.
