Day 4--Wednesday, June 3rd

Today was a slow day…Ash was stable and resting, her little body needed that after yesterday. They went ahead and put her on dialysis today as a precaution. I don't know all of the medical terms, but the Dr.’s had to put an incision in her left arm on the top and bottom because of the swelling. It was a possibility that it could cause permanent damage to her muscle and they needed to relieve some pressure off of it. She was scheduled to have surgery tomorrow at 10:30 in the morning to repair the bile duct in her liver. The nurse says her face swelling seems to be going down…that is good news. We'll take it!
