Day 3--Tuesday, June 2nd

Today was a rough day. Ash had us scared. The Dr.’s said she is the sickest patient in the hospital by far, but that she was staying strong and fighting ---we are all so proud of her. The room was packed with her family and friends. She had another surgery today….they worked on her lung and did a washing of her abdomen. A pediatric surgeon was brought in as well because her organs are so small! She is still open from her operations and that is because she is too swollen to sew up at this point. Her kidneys are on the verge of failure, but the Dr.’s are prepared to put her on dialysis if needed. She's fighting!!
