Day 5--Thursday, June 4th
The Dr.'s say she had her roughest night yet last night. She was bleeding some again and her bp had dropped. Today is going to be tough. The surgery was off and then back on once the team got her vitals stabilized. She finally went into surgery this afternoon. They started by doing a wash in her stomach and decided to proceed with her liver when she was showing stablization! GREAT SUCCESS!!! Again, Dr. O'herrin and her team are ROCKSTARS!! We cannot say that enough and when you add that with the fireball girl we have---you can't be beat!! She was in surgery for about 4 hours. We are all talking about how strong she is and stronger than anyone we know! Ash was on 2 bp medications and now only 1....that is progress and we will take it! Ash will be resting the next couple of days, but the Dr.'s will soon start stitching her up little by little. Hopefully by the end of next week she will be awake and stitched back up! She still has a long way to go, but we are all extremely happy with today's miracle we were given!! It was truly a blessing!!
